Revised 2008 - The Scottish version of the Irish Jig is not a Traditional Irish Dance. It has achieved great popularity in Scotland, has become a regular dance at competitions and is now featured at competitions in overseas coutries.
As the demand for knowledge of this dance has been worldwide, the Technical Committee of SOBHD, which is made up of representatives from the BATD, DSTA, UKA and Independent Members, have compiled the technique presented in this guide.
